Once in a while when I have any hour, I will peruse through looking for something interesting other than curriculum. It's basically a colored cardstock (probably lighter than cardstock but heavier than regular paper) and they can fill it out showing title, author, and comments about books they've read. They are pre-punched to fit on a metal ring. My middle boys are faithfully recording their books read with enthusiasm.
