Alice
Sometime fairly recently (the last 3 months I think) someone posted about some science books good for logic stage kids. I thought they looked great and thought I had bookmarked it but, alas, I did not. What I remember: It was a series. The books each focused on a scientist (I think) but weren't necessarily biographies. More using a scientist to elaborate a topic. They were definitely secular. They were more supplemental than a curriculum. Anyone?
jenslp
Were they the ones by Joy Hakim? Newton at the Center, Einstein adds New Dimension, etc?
Alice
No, but thanks for the thought. We have the first of those and it's good. These were more like a chapter book than a textbook.
Alice
Ok, I just remembered and I described them all wrong. It was George's Key to the Universe by Stephen Hawking and Lucy Hawking that I was thinking of.
