1Togo
This will be our last year of homeschooling. Since our shelves are stuffed with more books, courses, and curriculum than we could ever complete in one year; i.e. things from previous dc and things last dc did not finish, I am not shopping for materials for the first time in many, many years. I am glad the fact that we don't need anything coincides with my general lack of interest for the newest bells and whistles. :hurray: Also, I have accepted that we will do what we can do. :hurray: And soon, I will be putting together the "For Sale" stuff. :hurray: All this along with getting through major surgery so I can enjoy my post-homeschooling years -- whatever they bring. :hurray:
Angie in VA
Congrats to you! And let us know when that for sale list goes up. :)
Sebastian (a lady)
There is a freeing sense to knowing you can let go of stuff. I remember selling off all our Saxon math when it was clear it wasn't a fit for our youngest. Scary but good.

Sebastian (a lady)
Empty bookshelves?!? I only see those in the hour after an Ikea run. By the second day they're usually double stacked.
MomsintheGarden
Our youngest is only 10 but I'm already clearing bookshelves of things we'll never use. We have so many classics on Kindle that we've started selling the paper copies. I'm feeling very minimalistic lately, and I'm looking forward to someday living in an uncluttered house.
