amyco
Does anyone use math supplement guides in high school, such as Schaum's, Idiot's Guide, Precalculus Demystified, etc? How do you use them, and which are your favorites? Are they helpful or overkill? We will be studying precalculus next year. Thanks!
Kareni
My husband (who tutors math) uses the Rong Yang A-Plus books. He uses them as a reference as he likes to teach from Margaret Lial's books for Algebra I, II, and PreCalculus and Harold Jacobs' book for Geometry. He also uses Schaum's guides occasionally. A-Plus Notes for Algebra by Rong Yang Note that this includes Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus. My husband uses an earlier edition but this is the one currently in print. (It's also 472 pages versus 247 pages for the older edition. I wonder what's been added....) Regards,Kareni
