lmrich
Hey Disney Experts! Do you know if we make a reservation at a resort for dinner, can we swim at that pool? We are staying on property, but we would like to be closer to the park for a dinner.
Just Another Jen
Could you get away with it? Maybe. Is it allowed? No.
lmrich
Thanks. I have a weak ankle and thought it would be nice to go to a close hotel, get a drink and put my foot up by the pool. I doubt I would get in. Probably put my feet in. Forgiveness rather than permission then.
Luckymama
Please don't. Some people pay the extra cost for those hotels with nicer pools just because of the pools. Pools are now being gated and require room key/Magic Band access during peak times. We've even had to wear wrist bands identifying us as hotel guests. Samiam
No. People pay a lot of money to stay at Disney resorts, and use the facilities. Using the pool when you are not a guest is just tacky...kinda like sneaking into the theater to watch a second movie. And you only get three hours of parking at the resort if you are just there to dine. Plus keep in mind, Disney has eyes EVERY WHERE on their property....they aren't novices. ChristusG
Definitely not. Disney has really cracked down on this. Using the pool at a resort you are not paying for is definitely off limits.
zoobie
No, and many of the resorts have locking gates now. They were key card swipe, but they may have upgraded to the Magic Band keypads.
lmrich
Thanks. I will not do it.
