Question about how an appraisal district lists residential/commercial property...

We are interested in buying some local property.  There is a mobile home on it along with a large carport, storage shed and a small barn.  The appraisal district record shows two things listed as "commercial" and not residential.  Why would that be if nothing is used for commercial purposes at all?  We are concerned about this because of financing rules.  Thanks.

In our area, property is zoned commercial or residential based on its location, not on what is currently on the property. (Obviously, a commercial building wouldn't be on a residential property, but there could be a house on a commercial property, or both lots could be completely undeveloped.)

I'm sure the rules and regulations vary from place to place, though, so your best bet is probably to contact your local zoning office.
