If you use or have used Easy Grammar, how did you like it?

We're currently using BJU English 2 for DD (2nd grade)....I'm trying to decide between continuing w/ BJU (dd really likes it) or switch over to EG....instead of WWE, we're moving on to try CAP W&R for writing.

Hoping to get some feedback on EG to help me decide:)

Easy Grammar was my favorite. :-)

Of course, I don't feel the need to teach diagramming, which I know is important to many folks here.

I wouldn't do it until a child is 9 or 10yo, though.

Thanks:) Does EG teach diagramming?  Just curious....I don't have any strong feelings about teaching diagramming:)

We have used it for years. My son can quickly and easily break apart a sentence into its components. This has been most helpful with foreign languages, specifically Latin. We use a highly grammatical approach to Latin and the two play off one another very well. EG does not shy away from technical terms, however. That unnerves some people. The approach is very doable and presented in small, easy to complete steps. Ten to fifteen minutes a day and your student will be solid.

I detest Daily Grams, but greatly enjoy the full Easy Grammar books.
