Just Another Jen
Has anyone seen this? I haven't read the book and we have the opportunity to go see it next week. Do you think my 8 yo would like it? It seems like there is plenty of action.
Chris in VA
Perfect for an 8. It's nice if they've gotten some familiarity with Peter Pan's "regular" story, first, but if not, it's a good jumping off point to read the classic. Dd cruised thru the books, but we haven't gotten to the play yet--it's faithful to the book, IIRC.
Seasider
Wow, we are huge fans of the book and would LOVE to see a stage version. Never heard of one before! If it's like the books, at worst you will get some "boy" humor - bodily function jokes, kwim? Action and peril. Some mysterious stuff about star catchers (not occultish). I would be surprised to hear that you found anything objectionable. (FWIW my mantra is, unexpected moments become teachable moments...) Just Another Jen
Cool. The website said 10 and up, but this kid has all older sibs and thinks he is a teenager all ready. I think we'll go for it.

Mom-ninja.
Didn't know there was a play. Fun.
KungFuPanda
I can't think of anything objectionable for that age. We saw it this winter and it was delightful. There were children younger than 8 in the theate and they paid attention.
