AllBoys
I want to back up my photos somewhere outside of my house in case of fire, theft, or other disaster. I had carbonite but it was a pain and there were always problems. What do you do?
Amy in NH
Put them on an external hard drive and send it to a family member?
Lizzie in Ma
I have mine on a backup harddrive as well as Shutterfly and Dropbox. I am a fan of redundant systems. ;)
AllBoys
I have almost 30,000 photos in iPhoto. I have been having some problems with iPhoto lately and I don't know if there are too many or if iPhoto is just buggy but I don't trust it anymore. Is there a program like iPhoto (I love the faces part) that will store photos somewhere else besides my computer?
fraidycat
I have mine on an external hard-drive here in case of computer loss, and burned to disc at my parents' place. That way they can view, print, and save for me. :)
skeeterbug
Flickr has 1 TB of storage for free. You can set privacy so that no one else can see them. If you ever do have a disaster and need to download them, the files are the original size, not compressed. But apparently they can only be downloaded one at a time, I read there are services to help with bulk downloading. Free, can't beat that!
