kiwik
I am a single parent with 2 kids. I worked out the other day that at stretch I could manage care for one while I worked so I could homes school. Most families I know with more than three kids have decided to have a parent at home (childcare for 3 is too much) which means home schooling is more feasible. If you have seven one parent has to be home for a prolonged period of time. This seems to suggest to me that home schooling is more practical for larger families. Smaller families with good incomes try private schools so both parents can work to pay the fees. Just a theory.
