bttrflyvld
I've searched and searched and the only place I can find it is either you buy per episode on Itunes/amazon or watch a terrible copy on youtube. Isn't is on tv any more? I'd love to buy it, but not off of a download. I want a dvd.
Lara in Colo
library? Ask yours to buy it if they don't have it I guess you could call PBS to see if you could buy a season

Ask yours to buy it if they don't have it I guess you could call PBS to see if you could buy a season Library is a good idea. Just found out my current library doesn't, but I'm moving this summer. Hopefully my new one will.
Elfknitter.#
It's been off the air almost ten years now. (sheesh, that long already?!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reading_Rainbow LeVar Burton owns the rights now and has moved it to the (for pay) ipad app site. We have it and I enjoy it, but it's only snippets plus a catalog of books, not the full show. It looks like there are retailers listed on the right hand side of this page: http://www.readingrainbow.com/classic-series I'd see if you could get them through a library first. Ameena
We have a bunch I found on VHS tapes at thrift shops. DD loves them! Maybe try ebay for VHS versions? Or I know there are selected episodes available on DVD on amazon.
chelsmm
Discovery education streaming has them. I have heard some towns have subscriptions for their schools and home schoolers can access it that way. Maybe see if your town does that?
