unfrumpable.
So, I was reading through the Houston Museum of Natural Science monthly magazine. I get to the section about what movies they are currently showing. I see they have one on the history of Jerusalem and think that would kind of line up with what we're studying in history now. I start reading through the description and learn that it is narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch. Done deal. We're learning more about the history of Jerusalem next week for sure. Twigs
Be sure to give us a review (especially of the film!)
Night Elf
Oooh, that would make me want to listen too. I love his voice.
scrapbookbuzz
Yeah, that voice gets me into trouble . . . *ahem . . .
RebeccaS
I saw that a few months ago in DC at the Natural History museum. It was really great! Both the movie and the voice. ;)
Beth S
A member of the WTM Diogenes Club needs to post it on that group. (I'm just a lurker there.)
scrapbookbuzz
I'm thinking I may need to watch a rerun of Sherlock now . . .
unfrumpable.
We finally went and saw this today. It was really good! I learned some new stuff from the movie and it covered some stuff we've been going over in history, so that was cool. Not enough of Benedict's voice though, IMO. ;)
Twigs
Thanks for the update.
Just Another Jen
My daughter would like Benedict to read all her textbooks aloud to her. She thinks she could pay more attention if "Sherlock" was telling her how to free x from the equation. I think she's right. Our mutual crush will bond us through the teen years....
