"Tingly" from doing too much work?? (Histamine?)

Recommended Posts

Now this is a new complaint from my youngest who has SPD and dermatographia. In other words, she is hypersensitive and she also gets hive-like welts when things brush against her skin. So you could say she just doesn't want to do an extra lesson, but I almost wouldn't be surprised if something more was going on. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I've been putting off going to the allergist for the dermatographia, because they usually just prescribe zyrtec for this and it's actually improved since last summer. But it couldn't hurt to see if anything specific is triggering a histamine response.

One of my SPd kids says his fingers buzz after a lot of work. He has some fine motor issues. I get a tingly sensation sometimes after typing, but I have issues with my nerves as they pass through my wrists.

I'd try putting a gel mat under her wrists and see if that helps.

It's her whole body.

Maybe she needs to wrapped up and squeezed. As an SPD mom, you know what I mean.
