Rush
Basically, we are looking a good nice song for my son's audition, which shouldn't exceed 3.5 minutes:)

musicianmom
Is the audition song the one he would be performing in the festival? Or is it just something so the judges can hear his voice, and he would be performing another song? What genre of music are they expecting to hear? Yes, it will be the same song for audition and for the festival itself. regarding the genre - it could be any, as longer its kids appropriate. Heather R
What about something from a Disney movie, like Lion King or Jungle Book?
Dmmetler
Does it need to match the festival theme? That's going to limit it quite a bit. About the only Disney one I can think of that might fit would be Bella Notte from Lady and the Tramp and that is sung by a changed male voice in the original movie. musicianmom
Ok, any genre? Here we go. I apologize in advance if the suggestions stink. I chose them from the "Get America Singing Again" series. A patriotic song like America the Beautiful. You've Got a Friend (the Carole King song) Oh What a Beautiful Mornin' from Oklahoma If I Only Had a Brain from Wizard of Oz Shenandoah Blue Skies Simple Gifts De Colores Do-Re-Mi All Through the Night Getting to Know You ( from The King and I) It's a Small World After All Side By Side
...................
I was going to say "oh what a beautiful morning" from Oklahoma What about something from Newsies since that's a cast full of boys? I think "everything's up to date in Kansas City" might be funny
