Dmmetler Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 When my son was younger a family friend captured a rubber boa and kept her in a terrarium...until she had babies and then he couldn't contain them all. She was beautiful though and very much looked like a toy snake. We are on the border of the Cascade Mountains. No rattlers here;not quite hot and dry enough. Just LOTS of ticks since we cannot use pesticide of any kind. If we find a rubber boa, we can send her overnight mail to you all :) Fed Ex-USPS doesn't ship snakes :). One piece of trivia I'd never known until DD got into snakes. I have to wonder how the drivers feel about being asked to deliver boxes labeled "Live Reptiles, handle with care", but apparently that's how a majority of sales are done now.
