Elm in NJ
My twins want 1 of these for Christmas. Does anyone know which is best( The White House, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Empire State Building or one of the other ones.. Also , they are asking for puzzles. Does anyone have a favorite for that age group?
Mrs Twain
My daughter has most of the sets. IMO the White House is the best.
AmandaVT
If they're looking for a challenge or something that will take a few sittings, don't get the Empire State Building. It's cute, but DS put it together in about 5 minutes and it's itty bitty! Not worth the $20 in my opinion.
Mrs Twain
The Brandenburg Gate and Big Ben are nice but they are smaller, simpler, and easier than the White House. My daughter is getting the Sydney Opera House and the Leaning Tower of Pisa for Christmas.
Beth S
I'll just suggest something that combines the puzzle and Lego interests. :-) Our kids have enjoyed PUZZ 3-D foam puzzles of these famous buildings. We've purchased them used on ebay, found at yard sales, etc. http://www.amazon.com/Puzz-3D-U-S-Capitol-Building/dp/B0007Q1IRQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1387413489&sr=8-2&keywords=foam+puzzle+u.s.+capitol Each piece is about 3/4" square, with colored paper glued to a foam interlocking puzzle piece. We have the Eiffel Tower, Bavarian Castle, Millenium Falcon. Each takes several hours to assemble.
