Mango
Oh wow, I just saw my friend's on her ipad and I never thought to look for something like this! She can can enter her recipes. No more shuffling around looking for bits of pieces of paper. :) BUT when I got home and started looking at cooking apps I saw that there are also menu planners. Is there an App that will do both the recipe book & menu planner aspects? That would be the perfect app for me. Thanks!
Mabeline
I have one called Menu Planner and it can do everything, menu, shopping list, and recipes, even track your pantry. With all that, I prefer my other app, The Recipe Box. It has a nice recipe layout, easy to add and import recipes. It doesn't have a menu planner, but I like it better. Diann
Try Paprika. You can store your recipes, plan menus, and generate a grocery list. Love it!
dbmamaz
Paprika - it was the first app I ever spent money on and I LOVE it. You can go to a cooking site and, in many of them, one-button import the recipe in to your paprika. If their website is not compatible you can just highlight the title, ingredients, directions, etc and click on a button which will copy/past it in to your recipe. You can also type right in to it, or email it to yourself and copy/paste it in. You can also use your ipad camera to take a picture to set for the recipe. You can customize categories, put recipes in multiple categories. You can menu-plan so that when you click on 'meals' it (usually) goes to today, and you can click the link straight to the recipe. You can email and print the recipes. And there is a shopping list feature (i never like those, tho). Love my paprika!
Wildiris
My favorite free APP is Pepperplate. I've tried a bunch, and this APP works for me. It's straight forward. I can take all of my recipes with me shopping. I like adding pictures and cutting/pasting from the web, plus I can add my own.
Mango
Pepperplate is free so I'm trying that out. I got the app downloaded but I can't log into their .com site to download any recipes. What did I do wrong.
