Alicia64
My darling grandma made a cassette tape of all the songs she would sing to us as kids. She made the tape probably in '94/'95. I lost it. :crying: Or thought I had -- because I found it!!!!!!! :hurray: Anyway, I'd love to transfer it onto -- what? -- a DVD disc for family. Where would I take it and what would I ask them to transfer it onto? I thought of Costco, but I don't know if they're the best place to hand over such a special memento. You know, I don't even own a cassette player so that I can listen to it to check it's current quality. Any ideas are so welcome! Jean in Newcastle
Ds16 (aka Tech support) says "If you have a cassette player (pretty cheap at Radio Shack) you can put a cable from the mic port on the computer to the headphone port on the tape player and then record using Audacity. Then you can use Windows Media Player or another media player to make another audio CD of it."
