Ravin Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 As I mentioned in the family theme-costume thread, DD is going as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Any bright ideas for what to make DS? He's only 2 1/2 and doesn't seem to have an opinion himself on what he wants to be for Halloween. Something that coordinates with Buffy would be great, but it can also be his own thing. We have some hand me down costumes, but the tiger (from last year) is too small, and the lion costume is too big. We need to not spend much. I could probably make him a "knight" or "prince" with medieval SCA garb, but for SCAdian kids, "that's not a costume, mom, that's just garb." (According to DD). At the same time, I'm stupid busy and don't have a lot of time for a costume-making project. DD's costume cost nothing. She's wearing an outfit similar to something Buffy wears in an early-season starting credits shot, pulled from her existing wardrobe, and carrying a wooden stake. Wheres Toto Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 I think a little werewolf would be cute - Oz was turned by his baby cousin. :D Some brown clothes (that can be worn again - Yeah!), tail, foam claws put on gloves (if he'll wear them), fuzzy up his hair if he has enough, a little makeup.
