Excelsior! Academy
I was eating a few. One tasted weird and was crunchy. I looked at it and it had black, grainy things inside it. After brushing my teeth and rinsing my mouth repeatedly, I am now nauseated. Bleh! ETA: lest you think it was tampered with, we unsealed the package.
Hot Lava Mama
Eww! A bug, maybe? Don't look. It won't help. It's over, just move on. But, yeah, yuck! :) Hot Lava Mama
Starr
I bet if you send them a complaint you will get a new bag. :D
AlmiraGulch
Something similar happened to me yesterday with an olive! Turns out it was my own filling. Could that have been the case with yours? Particularly since Starbursts are so sticky? It's bad, but not as bad as a bug. Gross.
Cinder
 Bug or filling? Bad either way!
Mrs Mungo
Turns out it was my own filling. Could that have been the case with yours? Particularly since Starbursts are so sticky? This is what I was going to say. Are you sure you didn't take out a small piece of a filling?

I go to the dentist in a couple of weeks I will ask.

Otherwise you'll keep thinking you were chewing on a bug and that's just gross.
Parrothead
Bug? Machinery bits? Your own filling? I think I'd go with filling.
houseofkids&pets
I vote for piece of a filling too. I recently did this myself with a rice krispy treat. Still hasn't cured my sugar addiction :001_smile:.
Word Nerd
I bet if you send them a complaint you will get a new bag. :D When I read this the first time, I thought it said "a new bug." The power of suggestion! I'm betting it was a piece of a filling.
