CarenNH
In case any of you will be studying the American Revolution this year, Fort Ticonderoga is having a homeschool day on Friday September 6th. The Fort is located in upstate New York on Lake Champlain across from northern Vermont. It's just over a 2 hour drive north of Albany, NY. They have an entire day devoted to homeschoolers, with tours, demonstrations, etc. More info here: http://www.fortticonderoga.org/learn/students/homeschool We'll be attending. Perhaps if there are other WTMers, we could meetup?

redsquirrel
It is a great place to visit. Too bad we can't make it. It would be a nice stop on the way to Grandma's house. I love the Benedict Arnold boot statue.

AdventureMoms
That's near my parents house. Where I will be until September 4. I don't think it will work for us this year, but my kids are a little young for it yet. I hope to make it in a future year!
