Rhonda in TX
A friend's DH is now working in Saudi Arabia, and she leaves next week to live there as well. A group is getting together and giving her a gift basket of things she will not be able to find there. I have no idea what to add. Any ideas would be appreciated. :)

Kate in Arabia
Are they shipping things or only taking whatever they can carry with them on the plane? That will impact a lot, peanut butter is heavy ;) Does she have any magazines she likes in particular? Every Christmas my mom renews my Southern Living subscription -- it costs more (almost double) to have it shipped overseas, it's something I would not do for myself, but I really enjoy seeing that magazine come every month, kwim? I know you can get electronic editions of a lot of magazines these days, but it's just a nice taste of home to get the actual paper copy, kwim? Also it makes a difference which city they will be living in. I think most things are available now in stores there...
