Amy+2
I have narrowed my choices down to 2 different art programs for my boys this Fall. I would love input from those who use either one of these and reasons for using it. I am not sure 'how' the How Great Thou Art compares to Atelier-for example; does one focus more on the Great Artists compared to the actual learning techniques???- and so I thought I would ask the wonderfully wise women from here!:) TIA!! G5052
"I Can Do All Things" is technique-oriented. We're using that because we have art appreciation elsewhere in our curriculum, and we wanted focused lessons on technique. Atelier is a mixture of both from what I've seen. I haven't used it though, so hopefully others will pipe in with more details.
LisaKinVA
How Great Thou Art has several different programs, but the majority of them are technique based.
Suzanne115
I haven't seen How Great Thou Art, but I just received my order for Atelier and it looks great! Atelier has some appreciation and some technique. For example in the first lesson, they view a picture by Matisse and then do a lesson on lines. We are excited to use it.
