ILiveInFlipFlops
There are 4-5 guys here, under the supervision of the owner. All my communication has been with the owner throughout the process. They've been here all day trimming back our four huge oak trees. Am I supposed to tip these guys? I'd be giving the money to the owner, and I would hope he'd distribute it correctly. How much does one tip for this sort of thing? I never know the answer to this! Thanks!
VinNY
Tip everyone except the boss and only if you are happy with the job. Hubby has been in the tree business over 30 years....$5-10 a worker would suffice.
ILiveInFlipFlops
Tip everyone except the boss and only if you are happy with the job. Hubby has been in the tree business over 30 years....$5-10 a worker would suffice. Thank you! Some of the guys have left already to go to another job (there were 7-8 people here earlier). Is it appropriate to give it to the owner and ask him to distribute it to his workers?
VinNY
My husband said no they might not get it:( My husband always distributes the tips but knows many bosses who don't. Tip the ones there.
