thowell
So I see that this is becoming more and more popular in HS and I am wondering if there are programs out there set up this way aimed for homeschools. Any thoughts??

Crimson Wife
The big issue with integrated math is what happens if the student gets beyond where the parent is comfortable teaching. With the traditional sequence, outsourcing math is easy. Coming from an integrated program, placement can be tricky. I plan on taking my DD through DM 8 A/B and the geometry section of DM 3, but I'm not sure how far we'll get on the algebra 2 topics. Hopefully by the time we get there I'll feel more confident about teaching it since I'll have worked through the easier algebra topics with DD. CyberShala does offer NEM tutoring so that is an option.

If your kiddo does not plan to attend a PS are there any other benefits to doing integrated math??

CyberShala is not cheap, but it is a bit less expensive than 1:1 in-person tutoring rates in my neck of the woods (which are about $60/week). Mom0012
Saxon is the only other integrated math program I can think of (assuming I understand what you mean by integrated math). We've used CLE over the last number of years and it teaches a lot of geometry. I would have loved to continue that approach with my ds, but neither Saxon nor DM would be a good fit for him.
