Vida Winter
Toyota Corolla 1988. Headlights suddenly don't work, and now horn doesn't work. Something else stopped working but I forget what - I have to ask dd. Maybe the dash lights. Tried to replace light bulb in headlight but that wasn't it. Possibilities? Dd's solution is to drive only during the day. Car only needs to last another 5 weeks (college starts), when we may have to give it a Viking funeral. Car was purchased by me in 1987 brand new, but has been through the entire family including several kids, and has 250K+ miles. Does anyone have a clue as to why the electrical is failing? Beyond a $10 light bulb I am not willing to put much into this car. It gets great gas mileage, still.
Flowing Brook
Try replacing the fuses. When my horn went out that was the culprit. Headlights also have their own fuses
