Vida Winter
Photographers -- can you recommend a lab that can produce high quality prints (need much better quality than WalMart for instance)?
KatieJ
This review was going around thru my Cropping Friends. http://improvephotography.com/7756/test-results-best-online-print-lab/
Ali in OR
Our photographer who took our family pictures two years ago (and gives you a disc of photos--you print) always recommends mpix. Sometimes they have sales. http://www.mpix.com/
Hen
I got the basic account over at smug mug and I am really happy with how nice the prints came out. I was dissapointed that the basic account prints out of ez prints and not the more professional labs you can choose from with the pro accounts, but I ordered several prints to test out and compare my monitor, and they were wonderful. I also like that with my basic account, I have unlimited storage, so I can have my photos saved as backup there. It's really easy to order the prints, too. readinmom
Smugmug was our son's high school sports photography order lab. The pictures are good quality; we got 8 x 10, and 11 x 14. If you have a Costco membership, their photo prices are reasonable and quality is good. A friend made wall sized posters of her kids and they look great. tammyw
ProDPI is my hands-down favorite.
Forget-Me-Not
My local Costco is as good as the best pro samples I've requested. Just make sure you turn the color correct off before you send (it's an option right before you confirm your order).
FriedClams
Mpix.com It's an open version of a huge pro lab. Great quality and good prices.
Stratford
We had photos printed through unitprints.com and were very happy with them. (It was recommended to us by our photographer.)

goldberry
Another mpix vote...DH does weddings and graduation photos on the side and he uses them and recommends them.
ThisIsTheDay
Our photographer who took our family pictures two years ago (and gives you a disc of photos--you print) always recommends mpix. Sometimes they have sales. http://www.mpix.com/ Yes! I am super cheap. I took my dd's senior photos, and I chose this lab for the prints. They were GORGEOUS. I chose the cheaper of the two options (of course!). I'd already edited my photos and didn't want them messed with at all. In fact, I liked them so much that I took some pics of my younger son a few weeks later and had them printed by mpix too. I absolutely recommend them.
