Candid Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 I was looking for a new pod cast (or two) to listen to and decided to search on the Civil War since that's what is up next for us in history. I found this great podcast: http://civilwarpodcast.blogspot.com/ It is detailed and nicely balanced. The only real problem is that I am on episode 18 and they are going to cover the Lincoln Douglas Debates and I can't help but notice they are only up to Episode 31 as of this writing and that covers Fort Sumter. So what this means, for now, is that this really is a podcast about the lead up to the war, not yet the war. The other thing they do is recommend a book that ties into each episode so if you need more information they probably suggest a book for you.
