Stayseeliz
My DD9 is hard on goggles. She has broken two pair in the last month. She likes Speedo Hydrospex but they just aren't holding up for her. They've both broken where they attach to her bungie cord. I know she likes her goggles tight since she wears contacts when she swims but I don't know what else you do. I think she needs to try a pair with hard plastic sides, maybe? She's tried Nike Remora and the eye piece came off. Any ideas? Thanks! Desert Strawberry
Swedish. They cost a couple of dollars, are virtually indestructible, fit perfectly and the suction will pull her contacts out if she isn't careful. No leaks, no lost lenses. Stayseeliz
Interesting! Reading the reviews I see they aren't anti-fogging but I really want her to try them. Any ideas to make sure they don't fog up? Thank you!!
blondeviolin
My son is death on goggles too. The only pair he has yet to break have been a pair of speedo vanquishers with a bungee.
Unicorn.
Goggles just aren't lasting anymore. Even the dependable ones aren't lasting more than a couple of weeks before breaking. They just aren't making them w/ any kind of quality anymore. I've already bought 8 or 10 pair since May. And make sure you try those Swedish ones on before you buy... They didn't work for my dd at all. I was willing to fork out the money last year, to have a pair that would last, but they just don't fit her face. :(
mlktwins
My boys have been using the same pair of vanquishers since early last summer. Used a ton last summer, once or twice a week through the school year and now several times a day for swim team this summer. No breakage. I'll be getting bungee cords is the straps break. Stuart
Make sure they are pushing them against there face while pulling the strap on. This will ensure the suction to make them water proof. The strap doesn't really need to be that tight. My son used mostly speedo I don't know the model def not the $3 pair u usually pay about $12-$15 at target. They have styles that are gel like, flexible frames designed for small faces that work for him because he has a small head. Good luck in your search. It took us a while to find what he likes. They are speedo knockoffs...but hold up way better. ....and cost about 5 bucks a pair. If they lose them or break them, no biggie! My kids love them and they rarely break! grantmeawish
We use vanquishes from speedo. My ds had the same pair for the last 8 months until my 6 yo broke them. She was being destructive though.

Stuart
Aqua sphere is another nice pair. Really soft jelly shoe material. These are my sons favorite. http://www.aquasphereswim.com/us/eye-protection/eye-protection/moby-kid-clear-lens
Sobeknofret
I also recommend the Vanquishers. Darth Kid is hard on goggles and these are the only ones that have actually stayed in good shape.
SJ.
My boys wear Finis brand goggles. They have both had the same pair for about a year and a half, they have never broken nor are the lenses scratched. I highly recommend them!
