Guest MommyNeedingGrace
Preferences Preferences Hello. I am trying to locate a curriculum for my 12yo dd. Since I started homeschooling her three years ago, we have done Saxon, Horizons and now MM6. She hated Saxon, although now she says that she learned the most out of it, did not grasp the material with Horizons (thus, we started with 5B on MM last year), and although is moving along, still struggles with MM. It has come to the point where, although she is quite smart, she spirals whenever she has difficulty with her math work and it makes for a LONG day. She is an auditory learner, so I am wondering if a curriculum with a DVD would work best and I would like to find something that we can stick with and not change every year. Any recommendations? TLC
My auditory learner did well with and enjoyed BJU's DVDs.
NASDAQ
Learning styles are not science. Are you teaching her the math? If so, I think you should up your math-teaching game and see how that shakes down.
