MomtoCandJ
I'm looking for kindergarten science and history. I will be after schooling dd, more like a reading schedule that lets us dip our toes into a little of everything. Would love it to be free. SilverMoon
Maybe use the Worldbook typical course of study as a library list?
Walking-Iris
I'm not sure there is something you can purchase that is just a list of books to read. My advice would be to get a reference book for your home such as The Read Aloud Handbook or More Books Kids Will Sit Still For. More Books... is especially great in that it has all the books listed in categories as well as grade level. Also look at the ALA website for Caldecott winners. If you google "booklists for children" you get a ton of hits. Also try googling "history booklists for Kindergarten" or "science booklists for kindergarten". Then just start buying or checking out at the library. Make up your own schedule or list. There's no real right or wrong way to read to a child afterschooling.
