Amy Jo
I would like something I can buy once and then print for all the kids. Bonus points for "open and go". I'm aware of Lively Latin. I also believe Visual Latin has printable worksheets? Thanks!
kitten18
I Speak Latin. - its for beginners and it's done orally, no worksheets.
Susan in TN
Visual Latin does come with printable pdf worksheets, vocabulary lists, and answer keys.
nansk
Classical Latin and its companion workbook by James McKeown. This is a high school/college level course. Also, Latin For The New Millenium and other Latin books from Bolchazy-Carducci.

nansk
... you can get Getting Started with Latin digitally. Yes! Why didn't I remember this?! Amy, GSWL will be perfect for your boys and it is one of the most open-and-go books I have seen. :)
kiwik
GSWL isn't printable but you do most if not all orally and the kindle version is cheap.
fiberdrunk
Textkit has downloaded more than a dozen Latin public domain texts in .pdf format (Greek, too). They have a forum for support for those working through these books, too. There's also A New Latin Primer and A Practical Grammar of the Latin Language (ebook). Amy Jo
Thanks for all the ideas -- I've been pulled by the threads on making weekly assignment books with the worksheets in them, and I can't figure out a good way to do that with Memoria Press' Latin, since the front of a page is often a different lesson from the back. I have a copy of "Using Latin" by Scott & Horn - I wonder how similar it is to Latin Book One? I should plug my favorite vintage programs, even though they aren't workbooks. Nutting's Latin Primer (2nd book is a reader) and First Steps in Latin by Ritchie (series of 3, reminds me of the Form Series without the workbook). I actually have a hardcopy of Getting Started with Latin, and :banghead: I have "I Speak Latin" as a PDF. Maybe I should print it and USE it?? What a novel idea. :001_rolleyes:
TeaCookiesBears
You know Henle latin book are now in ebook form at Google. I bought the grammar book at amazon a few years back but now google looks to have them all.
Amy Jo
Has anyone found the Henle Key on Google Books? I noticed the Grammar last week, then when you posted I looked again and Book I was there. I hope they will add the Key, since I'm thinking about getting Henle for myself. I'm leaning towards having DS10 continue First Form, but slowing the pace, and have DS9 do Getting Started with Latin. We'll do "I Speak Latin" while they finish. And in January-ish I think I'll switch them both to Visual Latin, which should set us up to do Lingua Latina next spring/summer.
TeaCookiesBears
No. I tried to find the keys for Henle but I am hoping google or somebody will start selling them in ebook form soon.Google sells all the Henle books for latin in ebook form for under $10. I also have Wheelocks in ebook form and I know it is not printable but I am planning on using it with Studium Latinae ebooks.
