amy g.
It was as simple as making bread, and easier than making cheese. Here is a link to the pictures. http://www.freewebs.com/dancingdogdairy/100goatmilksoap.htm I'm letting my web designer have a break to play ping pong, then I'm chaining him back to the computer to finish adding our new pages. Melinda
That's so neat! Did you come up with your own recipe or find it somewhere?
Nestof3
I read "soup" the first time as well. I just made laundry detergent tonight -- does that count? LOL Beautiful soap -- I just want to smell it.
tlcmom
She has Nigerian Dwarf goats also. You don't by chance need a registered buck do you? She has one that comes from a great pedigree that is showing great confirmation. She didnt' wether him because someone supposedly wanted him, but now they have changed their mind. Her dad says he needs to go now. The deal they had was two goats. Well those two kidded and now we have four, so we have to get rid of two. Would you be willing to share your recipe with her? thanks! amy g.
Here is the recipe: http://dairygoatinfo.com/index.php?topic=17.0 They advise everyone to start off with "The Wal-Mart Recipe" before trying anything fancy. It worked like a charm. I'll ask my daughter if she needs another ND buck. Can you PM or email pictures and info on his pedigree?

amy g.
I forgot. I did adapt the recipe a little. Instead of using water, I added 16 ounces of lye crystals to 32 ounces of frozen goats milk.
