nancy in nj
If your rising college freshman sent the 2013 free score report to their college, they might be able to see their 2013 scores through their online college account and won't have to wait until Fri-Sun. My daughter got hers through her UNC Chapel Hill account today, and she's heard that folks from UPenn also had them available. :hurray:
Caroline
Couldn't find them at GA Tech. Guess we'll wait until Friday...
*LC
My kid couldn't see her scores yesterday through her college. However, she could see that she now had credit for the college classes associated with her AP classes, which meant she had to make a 4 or 5 on them. plansrme
Couldn't find them at GA Tech. Guess we'll wait until Friday... I checked my daughter's BuzzPort, and it shows up on there, but I am not convinced it is right, as it has the date wrong. It lists all of her APs and scores, but has them all with the same test date of 7/1/12, which is not a test date for any of them. She self-reported her APs prior to this year (sent a copy of the score report), but this year's only AP, Calc BC, was not on there. Oh well, I hope Buzz was right (it would be very un-GaTech to get this wrong!), as it shows a 5, but I am not convinced.

However, I found a thread on College Confidential where a parent called GT and they said they were uploading the scores in batches, and not everyone's were up yet and not to panic until Tuesday. Phew. I was beginning to think he had forgotten to send them. He didn't self-report any that he took prior to this year.

Well it would be unlike us to be in the first batch of anything, ever, so who knows why it shows a score for this year's AP among the prior year's APs, and all of them with the wonky test date. We did send in an a copy of her official score report, but it came from us, not the CB. (The distance calc person suggested we do so since she would only have one "high school" math class on her transcript; this was not for admission as a freshman.) Oh well, we'll see in 7 hours! nancy in nj
All my daughter's test dates were listed on her college account as 1/1/correct year taken, so I wouldn't assume that the 7/1 test dates mean incorrect scores. I pulled out her hard copy AP results from the college board for last year and the scores are listed only by the last 2 digits of the year. I'm guessing that only the year was provided by the College Board so the colleges computer assigned a random month/date. Her 4 AP scores for prior years were correct--there is no reason to believe that the college board sent incorrect scores to the colleges for this year. plansrme
Even the year was wrong, though, for the one she took in seventh grade (2011), but regardless, she did get a 5 on Calc BC, her only AP this year. It was strange only having one this year, when she is finally a PS freshman, after having so many as a homeschooled middle schooler. She was in one post-AP class as well, but there is just no drama with that!

I bet Tech uploaded Distance Calculus students' scores first because their enrollment in the class is dependent on that score. We got DS's scores from College Board this morning.
