IrresistibleGrace
I have a friend who needs to make a light blue colored punch for a baby shower. Any ideas? Would prefer sherbet based if possible but will take any suggestions. Thanks!
bolt.
Choose your own adventure: Pop: 7up, sprite, and/or sparkling water for less sweetness. There might be blue pop available too. Juice: white grape, pear (in the baby section) and/or a small amount of apple Blue Stuff -- blue syrup near the alcohol, usually 'blue raspberry' flavor, blue Gatorade type drink, blue koolaid powder, and/or basic sugar syrup with blue food coloring, or just plenty of blue food coloring. Alternate flavoring: clear koolaid-type packets Vanilla ice cream scoops, or white looking lemon sorbet I did pear, white grape, sparkling water, blue rasp syrup and vanilla ice cream. It was just a little turquoise from the slightly yellow juice, but mostly you would call it blue, especially as the ice cream melted in. Annie
I've had one that uses blue powerade. I don't remember exactly what was in it. I'm thinking some sort of lemon lime soda, white cranberry juice, and something else. I bet it would be yummy with pineapple sherbet in it... IrresistibleGrace
Thanks so much! These replies have reminded me of the "ocean water" drink at Sonic which is blue PowerAde and sprite. It is quite yummy and I think it would go well with pineapple sherbet. I will pass this on, thanks for the help!
wintermom
I was thinking Blue Curacao, but it sounds like you're going non-alcoholic.
unsinkable
I was thinking Blue Curacao, but it sounds like you're going non-alcoholic. That was my thought, too! Blue Hawaii 3/4 oz. Light Rum 3/4 oz. Vodka 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao 3 oz. Pineapple Juice 1 oz. Sweet & Sour Mix Edit to add:: Combine all ingredients and mix well. If using ice, mix the ingredients in a blender. Serve in a tall glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.

unsinkable
wow! This looks yummy. What is sweet and sour mix? It's a non-alcoholic mixer that you add alcohol to, to make different drinks. It's a sweet citrusy flavor.
