avazquez24
I'm very close to ordering Math Mammoth just to try it for dd and ds. I feel like THEN I will know and not keep wondering. I keep coming back to MM and wondering if we'd like it and if it would work for them :confused1: We used MUS last year (dd 1st and ds kinder), but I choose not to stick with it. DD was having issues with it I thought.....ds seems to be a very 'mathy' kid from what I'm seeing! I went back and forth on deciding between BJU and MM. I finally decided on BJU and spent a great deal of money ordering both complete sets with everything new. We started our new school year three days ago, so of course we've barely spend anytime with BJU. I of course keep wondering how MM would work out for them though. I do NOT want to curriculum hop and don't want to cause any gaps by doing so (esp with math). I thought if I did want to try it out, I should do so now before we really get into anything. So, I'm just so torn.....part of me says, oh forget it, just stick with BJU and don't even think about MM. Another part of me says to order it and try it out with the kids, so then maybe I would know for sure. :confused1:

We'll be using BJU next year ... and I spent part of today looking at MM samples. Here's the kicker: I've already tried MM and didn't care for it. :p :p
nansk
MM has a big set of samples. You can download and try them first. Then, if your kids really prefer it to what you are currently using, buy the MM package via HomeschoolBuyersCoop.
