Are there tests for Hewitt's Conceptual Physics?

Recommended Posts

Ds is going to do this course in the autumn and I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to assign a grade. Any suggestions?

eta: So I did a google search for tests for Conceptual Physics and found a website called gobookee.net. They had links to free downloads for tests as well as study guides, syllabuses and other resources. I clicked the link to download the tests and it's taken me to another site called mechplay.net which is requiring me to register. Has anyone used these sites before? Are they above board?

I got mine used too, but it didn't come with a test bank booklet. I guess I'm going to have to try to track one down. Thanks.

I made weekly/chapter quizzes using info in the TM; these took me about 30 min/week. I also graded labs.

The powerpoints at the link below match up chapter-for-chapter with the high school 10th edition of Conceptual Physics.

It's not much of an issue with Conceptual Physics, but for more advanced texts, powerpoints can be nice to go through before reading the textbook to break things down a bit more.

I haven't seen that website but there are some great posts on Conceptual physics on the boards. There is one post that had a lot of links to resources for the class. As to tests- Annabelle offered to share a PDF Test Bank file on a previous topic called "Conceptual Physics Final" via private message. I thought this link was pretty good-

I don't suppose you still have these saved on your computer and are willing to e-mail them to me?

These look fantastic. Thanks. I've saved them to bookmarks.

I've searched through past posts on CP, but never found the post about exams. Thanks so much.
