If you want a brand new copy this is the one I'd buy: http://www.amazon.com/Aesops-Fables-Aesop/dp/1934941085/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1217986637&sr=8-19 I don't see any new hardcovers though, so if you're looking for hardcover just pick one from a used bookseller there that looks like it's in good condition at a price you can afford. I see what you mean. I was just comparing my hardcover to the one I linked and mine has all color illustrations. Mine was published in 2005 by Barnes and Noble through a special arrangement with Checkerboard Press. I couldn't find it at amazon used or new. I think the other hardcovers are like it though - just different editions. The book you linked to is not available just yet - they are taking preorders though.
