kfeusse
my wonderful husband just gave me the go ahead to buy one....I am SOOOOO excited. I think we will go with a reconditioned one..about $120 cheaper....I hope that is a good idea...but when I went to look at their site about these...it reads this: Certified Reconditioned Standard blenders may reflect one of the following labels: 5200, CIA Professional Series, Creations II, Creations GC, Professional Series 200, Total Nutrition Center, or TurboBlend VS. Does that mean that if I order the $329 version I will get ONE of these...and I have no choice as to which one it is?? OR what? they have 2 other reconditioned mixers too...but they are more expensive...but they also have a series of ones that might be included....I am confused....PLEASE help me out. Eagle
Vitamix seems to rename their machines every year or two, so that will account for some of the names listed. Most of them are almost identical units but with a different label. For $329 you will be getting a great value no matter which one of those you receive. I think the free shipping code applies for refurbished machines, but I'm not sure as I bought a new one. If you try it and it works can you please let me know? I'm so excited you are able to get your Vitamix!! You will love it!
kfeusse
once I order it, how long will it take to get it? I can hardly wait to start using it. This is a dumb question...but I am getting my kitchen remodled (and my cabinets are being custom made) and we are still in the planning stages...so after hearing about how the vitamix is too tall to fit under many people's wall cabinets, I want to make sure that there is a spot for my vitamix on my countertop...so how tall is a vitamix? Eagle
18" with the lid off 19 1/2" with the lid on upside down (how I store it) 20 1/8" with the lid on My Mum stores hers with the container beside the base. Design somewhere prominent for it because you will want to use it often!
kfeusse
yea...that was my thought too...espeically since it's new...if I "hide" in away...I will forget I have it...but I am am also torn because i really want to streamline my countertop space...but I will already have a toaster oven, bread machine, and coffee maker on the countertop (we use these items daily).... but I know if I don't have the vitamix out, I won't use it like I want to. thanks.
