tammyw
I was skimming through TWTM last night. Up to this point, we've always been pretty loose with history - listening to SOTW audio (never used the guide books), read living history books, watch history dvds, read historical based literature, and reading magazines. DD is starting 5th grade level, and I was wondering if I should have a more structured plan? She's surprisingly very knowledgeable about history. I want to make sure we keep on the same track and keep it really interesting.
tammyw
A little bump :) In TWTM, the recommendation is to use a core text. I was curious if anyone had one they particularly liked? I think this is one she recommends: http://www.amazon.com/History-From-Dawn-Civilization-Present/dp/0756676096/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371163053&sr=8-1&keywords=history+the+definitive+visual+guide Any others you loved?
