foofoobunny
Those of you that use History Odyssey, do you use their writing activities or do you skip those and have a separate writing program? If I chose Writing With Skill, how would that work if I used History Odyssey?
KrissiK
This is our first year using HO. We will be using their writing assignments, as well as continuing with the writing assignments in R&S which we're using for grammar. At least that's the plan. RootAnn
Oldest did a modified HO this year and I used a separate writing program (started with Classical Writing Homer A, did a creative writing mid-year, and ended with WWS1). Level 2 Ancients didn't have many "big" writing assignments & the first part of WWS wasn't too time intensive. They seemed to re-inforce each other. Remember that you don't have to do everything in HO - it is a checklist & you should pick & choose assignments. Also remember that you don't have to do one lesson/day in WWS1. It can take shorter or longer, depending on the actual assignment.
foofoobunny
Thank you! I've only looked at samples of HO and WWS so I'm not sure what I'm getting into with each of them.
