I'm considering trying it out in the fall when youngest ds turns 2. I've used their letter of the week program and this seemed like a nice lead in. Tanikit Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I have not used this full curriculum though found the poems were great to add in to what I was doing. I used www.abcjesuslovesme.com with my 2 year old and we are nearly finished - it teaches similar concepts but I preferred the printables - if I did this again with a 2 year old (I hope I can one day :)) then I would probably combine the two curricula as I like the themes that the preparatory curriculum uses. craftyerin Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I tried when my twins were 2 and my oldest was 3. We lasted about 3 weeks. It was just too much for me to put together every week at that age, when really, they didn't need anything structured. I had friends who loved it, though. I think it's personality dependent. He's already want to join in and I've set him loose with large sheets of paper and pencils, crayons, etc. I just wants more idea to expand on.
