tkdkidsmom
I am trying to find one that is also non-soy. I'd hate to just buy a big container and then find out it tastes horrible. Does anyone have a favorite brand? Thanks!
NicAnn
Spiru-tein is good. There is also an amazing raw foods powder that I just cannot think of the name of! But it comes in chocolate and tastes awesome.
NicAnn
Oh and you can get indiviual servings at most health food stores, of all the powders. natural Grocers and Sprouts both carry single serve.
itsheresomewhere
100% pea powder. No soy, dairy and a few other things. Good amount of protein.
AnIslandGirl
I'm not sure if you are OK with egg protein, but if so one of our favorites is Jay Robb egg white protein powder. It is gluten free, fat free, no artificial colors or flavors, and it actually tastes great too! Although it comes in many different flavors, we prefer the vanilla so that we can add fresh fruit, coca powder, etc. to customize each shake to our mood that morning or day. http://www.jayrobb.c...ein-vanilla.asp Edit: It does contain the warning: This product is produced in a factory that may contain soy, wheat, dairy.... we have never had any type of reaction, but each family makes their own decisions about such warning labels. Mandylubug
We tried brown rice protein powder. It was nasty and chalky lol
runbikeswim
2nd Jay Robb egg pp. you can order a sampler of individual packets to test the flavors. My only complaint is the price, Jay Robb is spendy, but most non whey PPs are expensive. Personally, i cannot stomach any pea protein but ymmv. VeganCupcake
Nutiva makes a Hemp Shake powder. It's not going to fool you into thinking you're having a milkshake, but it's not awful, either.
