Soror
I was just looking at this today and am really liking what I see so far. I LOVE that there is a focus on speaking as well as writing, which is often neglected and important for us. Here is the book for use in fifth year classes (incorrectly labeled as the first): it has excerpts from poems and great speeches and more- https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=XgNKAAAAIAAJ&rdid=book-XgNKAAAAIAAJ&rdot=1 Here is the book for 4th year classes: https://play.google.com/books/reader?id=8NIAAAAAYAAJ&printsec=frontcover&output=reader&authuser=0&hl=en&pg=GBS.PR7 This one starts with them working on storytelling, then letter writing w/ picture and poem studies, next is studying how to write sentences and words. I cannot remember the equivalent grades but it looks doable for my son, who is an older rising 3rd grader.
bpskowski
Great link! Thanks. I think storytelling is so important on so many levels. I looked through the 4th year class so far (and downloaded it) for my rising 4th grader.
