Liz CA
Is there a place one can take old cell phones? I used to have some kind of self-addressed envelope to send them in but that is long gone. What about the names and numbers? Erase everything manually? We are no longer with this cell phone company. Ahhhhhh.
Lara in Colo
I believe Walmart has some sort of program. I would erase all your info and keep the sim card.
gingersmom
If they are Verizon phones they have a collection box in the store. I just donated 6 old phones.
Dahliarw
A lot of places around here collect them for domestic violence victims. If there is a recycling center near you, sometimes they take them as well. I would call your provider and ask or just google.

Do you have a Target by you? Ours has buckets for those now next to the plastic bag recycling boxes (ours are near the bathrooms). Our library also has a box for them. Barring those places, I would check with some phone stores like T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.... I'm sure someone would love to have them.
