swellmomma
When the herd of little girls arrived on my doorstep today looking for dd13 (their favorite babysitter) they all greeted me with the tale of the missing eyebrows. One of the almost 7 yr olds got mad at her eyebrows (so she says) and shaved both of them off as well as a section of hair centered on her hairline. She is very embarassed today but that doesn't stop the rest of the herd from telling everyone. Oh school is not going to be too much fun for her tomorrow. Thankfully her eyebrows were almost white blond before so it isn't overly noticable. I asked if her mom took a picture of it, but nope apparently she only got a spanking. I offered to a take a picture to save to give her mom to use when she is all grown up, but she declined lol. As this herd of little girls was getting louder and louder trying to be the first to tell me about this, and the girl that did it was covering up where her eyebrows *should* be, all I could think of was the hive and that thread lol Kids are weird haha

Embarrassing hair removal at that age is almost a right of passage around here:) Now the other ones following suit, that is funny. Cinder
Oh, poor kid! My dd has cut her hair plenty of times but has not thought of shaving her eyebrows. And I'm not giving her any ideas about that! :D
GailV
Having been through the "look at me! I'm shaving like Daddy with his razor!" scenario, how did she shave them off without cutting herself?
swellmomma
Having been through the "look at me! I'm shaving like Daddy with his razor!" scenario, how did she shave them off without cutting herself? She did cut her finger but not her face, I am not sure exactly. My thought is that mom has one of those razors with the little wires that act like a guard on it (it's the type I am getting for dd13 to use as she learned to shave her legs) and that would help prevent that. I said to the girl "wow you are lucky you didn't cut yourself" and that's when she showed me she had actually cut her finger, but yeah, very lucky girl
Karmiel
A spanking for that? Bummer. I'd have laughed, taken a picture even if I had to duct tape my kid's arms to her side, and then framed it. I remember cutting my next door neighbor's bangs off. We both thought it was a lot funnier than his mom did. I still think it's funny.
