HomeschoolMamaOfTwo
So, I haven't seen one of these threads in a couple of months? Maybe I'm just missing it. :) I know it is summer and all, and people tend to go lighter on food/planning but I still need to have a rough idea of what we are having around here or it turns into chaos really easily! :) I could use inspiration in what you guys are having, so I hope we can share! I am still planning this upcoming week but here is last week Today - Chicken Fajitas, refried beans Friday & Yesterday - Hawaiian chicken w/ pineapple & bbq sauce, rice, broccoli, baked sweet potatoes Thursday - Pork roast with carrots, potatoes and a green salad

lea_lpz
I made my grocery store list / meal plan for this week today. I also go light if I shopped that day because by the time I shop, bring the groceries home and put them all away I am tired. Tonight - chicken and veggie stir fry over white rice Monday - fried chicken, collards, Mac 'n Cheese Tuesday - sloppy joes, macaroni salad, garden salad Wednesday - hamburgers, broccoli salad and macaroni salad (there will be leftovers from previous day) Thurday - pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, zucchini medley (zucchini, corn, tomatoes and onion sautéed with some bacon and seasonings) Friday-BBQ Chicken, pasta salad, 3 bean salad Saturday - Steak, baked potatoes, corn, broccoli with cheese sauce It's hot where we live so we grill a lot in summer. I like having a variety of the salads too since we can have them at lunch with sandwiches, like potato salad, broccoli salad, etc.
Delirium
Mmmm. Would you share the recipe for savory crepes?? Savory Crepes and the filling just depends on the person. I like mine with leftover chicken slices and mushrooms. Kiddo likes ham.
FaithManor
SERIOUSLY???? I have to plan food this month???? NOT COOL!! I guess that first off the carnivorous, rampaging, pack hunting beasts - my three teen boys - will be required to eat the abundant left-overs from the rehearsal dinner. After that, they will have to forage, scrounge, loot, and pillage. Possibly my mother will take pity on them. I am too tired to consider grocery shopping at the present time. Give me a week post-wedding and then possibly I'll consider feeding them. Faith
