MomtoCandJ
Where can I buy cheapish maternity clothes??? I have tried Craig's list and yard sales in my area but they are too big, I find lots of large and extra large (I wear small pants (3 jr) and medium shirts). This is baby 2 and most likely will be our last. Oh and if shirts double as nursing tops all the better :)
plath
The majority of my maternity wardrobe came from Old Navy and Target. I have managed to pick up a few things at thrift stores, but that's really hit or miss.
Moniksca
I like old navy for their maternity clothes plus theres usually a bargain section.
Paige
I liked GAP and Old Navy. You could check ebay for some deals. Gap and Old Navy were the only ones to have xxs pants but Gap's were smaller.
Farrar
Target has cute stuff. H&M if you have a big one also has good maternity clothes prices and cute stuff.
lavender's green
I like Motherhood Maternity, but only if you can go to a physical store to see things. Some things are nice (I get lots of compliments), and others are hideously cheap. Maxi dresses are also nice, and can be worn when not pregnant, although depending on the cut they might not fit the full 9 months.
k2bdeutmeyer
I bought almost all of mine from Target, Old Navy, and 2nd hand.

BarbecueMom
I had to go to Motherhood Maternity this time for pants because I'm really short and needed small petite. I bought a pair from Target and I'm swimming in them and stepping on them. It doesn't help that I've gained a whopping eight pounds in 29 weeks and have no hips to hold these things on. There's just not much out there second hand for 5' tall pregnant women. Most of the tops I found were incredibly thin, so I got several tank tops to layer them with. The tank tops should still be wearable even after the baby weight is gone.
stripe
I found a bunch of wrap around maternity tops at Kohl's for $5 each and stocked up, and I had one pair of pants my mom got me at Target that I liked; otherwise I hated most maternity pants. I was the happiest with loose dresses that were basically a rectangle. That's what I like in hot weather, anyhow. Motherhood Maternity has an awful returns policy, if that's the store I'm thinking of, so proceed with caution.
Erica in OR
Do you have any children's clothing consignment stores in your area? Ours locally sells quite a bit of maternity too, at reasonable prices. Erica in OR
MomtoCandJ
None of the thrift or consignment stores in my area has maternity clothes, much less my size :( looks like I gotta go to the city to shop ( don't like buying clothes or shoes online, my sizing is weird so I have to try things on). Oh well gives dd and I something to do :)
CatholicMom
I like Motherhood Maternity for pants and skirts because I'm picky about waist bands. I love their "secret fit belly" waists on bottoms. But for other stuff Old Navy is the cheapest I've found, while also being stylish and having a pretty good selection. Old Navy also has some simple T shirts that I am wearing (I'm over 6 months pregnant). I think they are called "vintage soft tees." I'm 5'5", currently 150 lbs, and wearing a Large and it fits fine over my belly and is super comfy. It sucks in around the belly a bit so it doesn't just hang there like some T shirts would. They are pretty cheap (7-10 bucks) so cheaper than most maternity shirts and you can wear them after the baby during the postpartum period or for PJs later. Just a thought.
