ktgrok
Thanks to all that kept saying we should get a live trap. You were right! I bought one today at Harbor Freight for 19 dollars, and we caught him right after sunset. We put it up by the front of the house where we'd been leaving food for him. He's a bit angry right now...and meowing a lot, but he will settle down. And two days after lighting a candle at the shrine of St. Anthony at church :)

ktgrok
silly cat meowed for hours, for no real reason, while walking around rubbing his face on everything to mark it. Then at bed time meowed until finnally curling up by my feet on the ottoman. I slept in the chair with the baby for a while, then moved to the bed. When I moved to the bed he meowed pitifully looking for me, until joining me on the bed. Sweet cat.

Jeannie in NJ
yay!!!!!! and of course being an homeschooler, I had to look up who St. Anthony was the saint of. I had assumed that it was missing people or such and I was correct. Hope that bad wandering kitty of yours stays home now.
