Approximately how many strawberries in a quart? My brain is adled & I can't seem to settle on how many to buy for the wedding.

I think my brain went over the edge a few minutes ago. For the life of me, I cannot picture a quart of strawberries adequately in my head so the potential number of berries escapes me. My mom is going to pick them up for me on Friday and wants to know how many quarts.

 

GACK! I need a nap.

Might have to wait until she gets there to see the size of the berries. Sometimes the berries are much smaller and other times they are huge----but honestly, we have found the smaller berries to be more flavorful.

I only know because I bought our first quart of the season and to keep older ds from eating all of them in one fell swoop, I divvied them up into 5 bowls.

 

We had about 50 berries total, but some were small. There were a few big ones, but mostly medium sized ones. They were yummy!
